First day

As I said in my previous post, I won't expose you to my work until I am done the first chapter (in theory 2 more days) but I did want to make a few brief notes on progress so far.

1.Writing is hard. Actually, scratch that, writing is easy, good writing is hard. It is really hard to suppress the urge to edit, but I am trying.

2. I am very bad at description. I am less than two thousand words in and already dangerously close to running out of adjectives. How do writers deal with this?

3.My outline is nowhere near detailed enough. My main character is getting through events far too quickly. He must be stopped.
