Day 2

I am now on to the second day of writing which comes with both success and failure:

Success: I am continuing to pump out my required word count, as of this moment standing at 3,396.

Failure: It turns out I don't know how to write/am scared of writing dialogue.

Success: I'm overcoming my adjective rut. While I may not yet be Dickens or Hemingway I feel I'm doing much better.

Failure: I find I'm relying far too heavily on introspection and internal monologue. I might be able to get away with it till the end of the chapter, but sooner or later it will start to feel monotonous.

Either way I'm continuing on, and come hell or high water tomorrow night I will be posting the first chapter on here so you can judge for yourselves.
